Description:
Responsibilities:
1.Develop complex, high availability, high traffic web applications as a member of a diverse, high energy team.
2.Write top notch, reusable, scalable APIs using best practiced coding methods.
3.Get involved in the entire lifecycle of product development including analysis, development and testing.
4.Work closely with the Team leads, Product Managers and other team members in a fast paced, agile environment.
5.Should be able to handle multiple, complex projects simultaneously while managing dependencies across teams.
6.Be on the cutting edge, always learning new ways of doing things, while mentoring junior developers.
7.Write unit and integration tests and get involved in load and performance tests done by infra team.
8.Work effectively under pressure while keeping the smile on the face.
9.Participation in all team events including but not limited to cricket matches, holiday celebrations and other fun events.
Desired Skills:
1.Experience with caching technologies – memcached, Redis, JVM cache.
2.Good experience with database technologies – Oracle/MySQL, SQL (Stored procedures knowledge is a plus).
3.Experience writing unit and integration tests – TDD is a plus.
4.Knowledge about load testing, performance tuning – JMeter.
5.Familiar with Web technologies like AJAX, CSS, Javascript.
6.Good experience with Apache, Tomcat is good to have – setup, configuration, proxies, etc.
7.Experience working in an agile environment with a fast paced development cycle.
8.Excellent communication and organizational skills.
9.Proven project delivery skills with ability to work independently.
